Introduction to Counselling Skills (ICSK-L2)
Application for this course is via the Northamptonshire Adult Learning service.
Once there:-
- Type 'counselling' into Course Name Filter;
- Choose certificated course (there will be more than one counselling course on there - you will need to choose the more expensive one - this is certificated - the other course(s) aren't);
- Follow the instructions and pay.
Designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles.
Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)

Completion of an application form.

Completion of a written exercise and submit this at the same time as the application form.

If eligibility requirements are met, a 30 minute interview will be offered using the online platform Zoom

Only upon successful completion of the interview will a place be offered on the course.
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3)

Completion of an application form

Completion of a written exercise and submit this at the same time as the application form.

If eligibility requirements are met, a 30 minute interview will be offered using the online platform Zoom

Only upon successful completion of the interview will a place be offered on the course.
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Studies (TC-L4)

Completion of an application form.

1000-1500 word assignment (to be submitted at the same time as application form).

If eligibility requirements are met, a 45 minute interview will be offered. This will be in person not online.

Submission of 10-minute skills practice recording (submitted 7 days prior to interview)

Completed reference from Level 3 (or equivalent) tutor

Completed reference from a professional referee.

Examination of Level 3 portfolio.

Only on successful completion of the above will a place be offered on the course.
